A split phase load bank is a device that can simulate different electrical loads for testing purposes. It can be used to test inverters, generators, transformers and other power sources. A split phase load bank has two output terminals that are out of phase by 180 degrees with each other, and a common neutral terminal. This allows it to create both single-phase and three-phase loads by connecting different combinations of the terminals. For example, a single-phase load can be created by connecting one of the output terminals and the neutral terminal, while a three-phase load can be created by connecting all three terminals.
